Architectural & Furniture
Working with architects and designers, contractors, furniture makers, the general public, and my good friends at the Shenandoah Planing Mill, I have made table bases, legs, and feet, replacement chair parts and other furniture spindles, balusters, bed posts, mailbox posts, column bases and capitals, finials, and porch posts. I'm very close to turning old timey columns (see "Vintage Lathes" page), and am up for tackling virtually any other turned furniture or architectural component you can think of, whether hand-turned or copy lathe duplicated. I specialize in both reproducing existing classic designs for replacement parts as well as crafting a hand-turned "original" based on any number of sources (old photos, magazine spreads, your imagination) for your approval, and then providing exact copies as needed. Do you have an architectural or furniture spindle (or a dozen) you need turned? Give me a call - 304.279.0506
