Working with architects and designers, historic preservationists, builders, other craftsmen such as furniture makers, and homeowners as well, we produce Architectural and Furniture Components for a wide variety of applications, indoors and out. The Centauro T5E-1600 Hydraulic Copy Lathe is the heart of our production operation at the Shenandoah Planing Mill location, but we do smaller projects as well, whether designing something new or matching existing pieces. Need new porch posts? Components for your decorative balustrade? Turned legs for that awesome table top you created? A replacement spindle or bed post? A Noteworthy Historic Preservation Project

A pretty good way to "get on the map" in the historic preservation game is to take on and successfully complete a whopper of a job like the one we did at Leesburg's historic mansion, "The Oatlands," which is owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. With our partner and project manager the Shenandoah Planing Mill, we turned enough balusters to complete 44 sections of this magnificent balustrade. It was the kind of job you upgrade your equipment for, and that's exactly what we did!
